Lizzie Wilkins has a successful life in the city - a high-flying career in PR, a promotion on the horizon, a sexy boyfriend and a cool city pad - until, that is, her life comes crashing down around her. Sarah, Lizzie’s mum, helps run a cosy little plant nursery with her brother Geoff in an idyllic village on the Yorkshire coast. Happily single since she split from Lizzie’s dad, Sarah’s content and settled in her life - or so she thinks. But after Geoff passes away and Lizzie flees home in disgrace, the two must battle to bring together the local community to save the nursery from collapse. Along the way, both face questions about their own lives and loves. Will Sarah find a new taste for romance with local entrepreneur Tony or fellow potter Mike? And will Lizzie manage to clear her name and regain her city life, or will the pull of her childhood home - and her teenage crush - make her question just what she needs in order to flourish and grow?
A funny, warm-hearted tale of recovery, romance and home.
